information of the Secretary of State for India in Council,
copies of Hydrographic Instructions v/hich have been issued
to the Commanding Officer of H.M.S. ORMONDE for surveys
in the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. .
Attention is invited to paragraph 5 of the
instructions re landing in Persian Territory, for which
£12^* permission is being sought, and also to paragraph V
regarding the survey of Khor Kaliya. I am to request that
a copy of these instructions may be sent to the Political
Resident, Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. .
A similar letter has been sent to the
Foreign Office, together with a copy of the Instructions
