Map showing Persia and the Persian Gulf Historically used by the British to refer to the sea area between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. Often referred to as The Gulf or the Arabian Gulf. . The map shows cities, main roads, and hydrology, and shows in red the boundaries of Consular districts in Persia. The map was produced by Simla Drawing Office in 1924 and produced by General staff, India.
