copy of a telegram received from
His Majesty’s Minister at Tehran
regarding the proposed re-opening
of a consular post at Isfahan.
2 . In view of the present
situation in Persia and the urgent
need for a fuller representation
in this area particularly, this
department has approached the
Lords Commissioners of His
Majesty’s Treasury for sanction to
proceed forthwith with the
re-opening of the post and I am
to enquire whether, in the
