This file contains correspondence between British officials concerning a number of proposed agreements between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait that were intended to formalise relations between the two countries and to end a trade blockade that had been imposed on Kuwait by Saudi Arabia. Much of the correspondence concerns the exact wording of these agreements and numerous amendments that were made to them.

The majority of the correspondence in the file is between British officials (including at the Foreign Office, India Office The department of the British Government to which the Government of India reported between 1858 and 1947.
