I am directed by Mr. Secretary Henderson to
transmit to you herewith a cony of a despatch from His
v
Majesty's Minister in Tehran regarding the visa\fees to
be charged to natives of Oman, Muscat and Koweit for the
purpose of proceeding to British territory.
2. Subject to Mr. Secretary Benn*s concurrence
Mr. Henderson proposes to reply that the standard fees
Gold Frs.l. of one and ten gold francs respectively for transit and
Gold Frs.10.
ordinary visas should be levied. I am to add that
Major Barrett will by now have received the revised
chapter 22 of General Instructions to Consular Officers
in the annex of which the Sultanate of Oman and Muscat
and Koweit now appear.
