With reference to our letter No. L/48
of the 16th ultimo to you advising beer acceptances
for the first half of 1944, we have now received
further communication from our Correspondents,
Messrs. Gray, Dawes & Company, asking us if you
would kindly arrange for the necessary recommendation
to cover the following:-
100 cases Whitbread Beer which is the
balance of their quota for the half
year ended 31.12.1943 and also 200
cases Gin for the six months ending
June, 1944.
Our Correspondents advise us tnat so far
they have not received allocations from all tne
Whisky distillers for the six months ending June
1944, but tney hope to cable us these particulars
in the very near future, on receipt of wnicn we
will advise you.
