Dear Gibson,
As you requested in your letter P.Z. 4379/39 of the
19th July, I write to confirm our suggestion that a
practicable solution to the question of the Saudi-Koweiti
postal arrangements might be found in an exchange of notes
between the British Minister at Jedda and the Saudi
Minister for Foreign Affairs, on the lines of those
exchanged at Jedda on the 16th November, 1935, concerning
transit dues at Bahrein.
2. We shall be interested to hear Powle’s views in
due course.
Yours sinc <ar ** 1v
