present their compliments to
the Imperial Ministry of
Foreign Affairs and with
reference to the Imperial
Ministry’s memorandum No.36L79
of the 1st Bahman (21st January)
regarding letter mails from
Bahrein, have the honour to
state that the use of Form R.P.32
for these mails has now been
approved by His Majesty’s
Government in the United Kingdom
as a temporary war-time expedient,
which will of course in no way
affect the attitude either of
His Majesty’s Government or of
the Imperial Iranian Government
to the question of the status
of Bahrein.
