Government of India have aaKed me to hand over to
the Indian ziabassador who is due here on i oveaber 21st the
Humber car purchased by the Government of India for the
use of additional vounssllor and certain office equipment
received from the loner consulates at eiman and Sunday
ixbbas.
2. hough Pakistan C?ovemaent have not so far as I
am aware, claimed any of this property they have asked
through their Iharg4 d'affaires here I’or a list of at
the former Government of India posts in Persia and the
Gulf ’•to enable them to claim their legitimate share in
the assets” and I am t er-fore doubtful as to how far I
should hand over any of the property without agreement ©r
at any rate knowledge ©f Pakistan Government.
