assurance of the Air Council that they
will take appropriate steps to ensure that
the conditions which Colonel Powle
considers should be attached to any such
appointment will be laid down, Lord Zetland
concurs in the proposal to create the
appointment. His Lordship notes that the
name of the officer selected will be

He assumes that the appointment will be
of an experimental nature in the first
instance and that the position will be
carefully re-examined from time to time in
the light of the experience gained.
