Snclosing herewith a British Indian Passport
Ko. 74119 granted by the ^unjou Gcvex'n xnt to kohd.Sadiq,
I have the honour to draw your attention to the Permit
too. 172, dated the 26th octccer 1936, issued to him
by Eis Britannic lajesty^ Vice-Consul at lliorramsliahr
certifying that there is no objection to the individual
being permitted to proceed to ihauan via iuiorramanahr,
and also the Page 7 of the passport where it is
specified that the passport is granted on the authority
of this Permit too. 172 referred to above.
As Abadan and Khorrsmsnahr are in Iran I am
sure you will agree v»itu me that such ssx an authority

Imperial G-overmnent of Iran and not by nie Britarniic
Majesty’s Vice-Consul at Khorramahahr, and that is my
