and Mr. Gardner’s letter of 28th July, flagged. Apart from the
. question whether Sir R. Hay can guarantee the continued administra
tion of the Gulf in the event of officers being permitted to take
the leave due to them under Indian Rules, the question arises how
in individual cases leave passages to and from the Gulf should be
paid. The following sets out the cases of individual officers:
(1) Ex-I.P.S. officers now in Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. accepted
