payment to the officer of the return fares of the sick person a

servants whom he had brought from the United Kingdom or
elsewhere to his post and for whose return to their homes he
had made himself responsible, the amount of the fares for such
servants (within the limits of (b) above) for a journey from his
post to their homes will be paid on request up to the amount of
the fares to the United Kingdom.
9 . Where the amounts of fares are payable under the previous
