Captain Glubb and vheikh Abdul Aziz ibn Geld to deal with
questions connected with raiding between Transjordan Used in three contexts: the geographical region to the east of the River Jordan (literally ‘across the River Jordan’); a British protectorate (1921-46); an independent political entity (1946-49) now known as Jordan and the

that oiie instructions contained, in my predecessor*s despatch

under reply, were prepared after consideration of that report
and Indicate the general attitude of Bis Majesty's Government,
both on tne question of the settlement of v "?a.st raid-claims
and on that of future measure a of co-operation on the frontier*

on page 8 of Captain GTubb's report that it may be desirhble
to forego the claims of Transjordan Used in three contexts: the geographical region to the east of the River Jordan (literally ‘across the River Jordan’); a British protectorate (1921-46); an independent political entity (1946-49) now known as Jordan in respect of loot taken
during the period between the 1st iuguat, 1.9S0, and the 19th
