5. On the basis of friendly and mutual relations that exist
between Kalat State and the Government of India, His Highness
would therefore suggest that the Government of India advise
the Sultan of Muscat to send his representative to Ifife-bar-i-
Kalat for the settlement of this issue. Such a course would
foster the mutual and friendly relations between the Government
of Kalat and Muscat.
It is only after this issue has been finally settled
that the question of the settlement of boundaries between
Kalat State and the Sultan of Muscat can be taken up.
