Map showing the Aden Protectorate. It is stated on the map that it was originally surveyed in 1891-94 and 1901-04 and published under the direction of the Surveyor General of India in 1914, before being heliographed and printed with minor additions in 1930. Published by the Geographical Section, General Staff, War Office.

The red numbers relate to place names that appear in a separate list in the volume named 'Annotations' (f 331); the blue lines denote names of tribes and sub-sections.
