3. The only standard troop carrying lorry of British make
used by the V r ar Office is the Bedford 3 ton 4x4 type Q*L*
Specification of tills vehicle is enclosed together urith & set
of photographs* Contract price is <620.
4. There is no standard War Office type 30 cwfc troop carrying
lorry, the only possibility la to utilise the standard JO owt
lorry and fit it with seats on the lines of the Bedford Q*L*
A suitable British vehicle would be the Ford JO cwt 4x4 G»S*
type W.O.T. 8 . Contract price la £750. Specification and
photographs are enclosed*
5. As soon as it is known whether the Sultan of liisoat wishes
to purchase vehicles of these types on approach will be made to
the War Office for release of the number required*
6 . With regard to the agricultural tractor it is suggested that
a Fordson would moot this requirement* S. ecifications, price
