52.—(1) If an Officer of the Court, employed to execute a decree or
order, loses, by neglect or omission, the opportunity of executing it, then,
on complaint of the person aggrieved and proof of the fact alleged, the
Court may, if it thinks fit, order the Officer to pay the damages sustained
by the person complaining, or part thereof.
(2) The order may be enforced as an order directing payment of money.
Part VI.— Mixed Cases: Bahrein Subjects and Persons
Subject to this Order
(a) Criminal
53.—(1) When a Bahrein subject desires to institute a complaint against
a person to whom this Order applies, or a person to whom this Order applies
desires to institute a complaint against a Bahrein subject, the Court of the

(2) The judgment of the Joint Court or of the Majlis-el-Urf shall for all
purposes be considered the same as if it were that of the Court of the
