Re German Companv Carpets. Kerman. Confirming

the conversation with Mr . Kerr, I now beg to submit three
propositions for the liquidation of the stock of the
carpets of tie German'Company of Kerman subject to the
goods being in sound condition.
1 * <
(1) *. We offer to take over the stock of
carpets at their book cost in Krans at the rate of
exchange of 55 Krans to the Pound, the amount to be
considered as part liquidation of our claim against the
G-erman Government.
(2) . That we offer to buy the stock at book
cost in Krans delivered F.Q.B. Bunder Abbas or Busra,
\ paying for same in London at the rate of exchange of 55
Krans to the Poun? when the goods are put on board a
steamer for London or Bombay.
(3). That we will take delivery of the
carpets in Persia, ship them to our house in New York to
be sold on Government account on the following conditions
(a).
