^. I am in general agreement with
the views expressed by the Government
of India on the question of wireless.
J On the question of the
establishment of definite protectorates
aionp the Arab shore, my general
concurrence in their views is,
however, subject to the following
reservations. in the first place
as regards Bahre in the Viceroy’s
telegram leaves me in some doubt as to
whether the Government of India do not
contemplate the possibility of the
establishment of a protectorate over the
l ead, and without the consent of the
Sheikh.
