No. 5080. Following notification issued today by
Military Administration, Basra. Begins . Notice is hereby
given that owing to. MilitarywEatever^will be permitted
to enter the port of Basra or to load or unload there which
before clearing from the last British port has not obtained
from the Military Administration, Basra,, a special permit Id
enter the port. Such permit will be good for one voyage only.
Applications for permit should be made to the undersigned
on special forms obtainable from the Chief Political Office
by the Agents of the steamer for which a permit is desired.
The grant of a permit v/ill be telegraphed by the Agents
to the Captain of the steamer and will be notified by the
Examination Officer at Fao|come^ into force at once but

Ports before 15th October or European Ports before 1st
November.
Military storeships and privately owned ships the whole of
whose cargo consists of military stores are exempted from
these regulations. Ends .
