2. Lewis Jones American Embassy asked me to contact him before
my departure so that he could telegraph to various American Missions
on my route. Please tell him that owing to an unfortunate muddle I
missed contacting him again but will certainly call on Am eric an Embassy
here and elsewhere a.nd that perhaps he would telegraph as planned to
Delhi, Singapore and Batavia.
