8. Count and Countess de Prorok, the former on American
subject and the latter on Englishwoman by birth and the
holder of a British Passport together with on Italian named
Tuolli Pastori arrived in Muscat from Aden via Bombay in
S.S."Bonkuro w on April 14th.

Postori, whose passport held a vise for Muscat in transit
to Iron issued at Aden and in which he is described os a
geologist, announced that the object of hie visit to this
country was to recruit labourers for Eritrea. This information
was reported to the Sultan and by his orders Postori was not
allowed to proceed with his project or leave for the interior
of the country. He came to this Agency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, headed by an agent. and asked for a vise
for Posni whence he stated he would travel overland by cor
into Iron. The following day he said he hod changed his mind a&
and would go direct to Bondar Abbas by sea. He left for that
port by S^.^Borodo" on 21st April. He left his cor with a
merchant in Matroh and announced his intention of picking it
up on his return from the Gulf*
The British Consul at Bandar Abbas reports that
lastori disembarked there on 25th April and that his passport
bore a vise for Iron issued by the Iranian Consul at Karachi*
