The Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. Muscat, No. 664, dated the 13th November 1869.
Forwards copy of a letter addressed to him by Colonel Felly relating to the apology
tendered by the de facto Ruler of Muscat for the insult offered to the “ Clyde,” and re-
- monstrates against his being ignored and kept uninformed by Colonel Felly of what has
passed between himself and the local authorities on the subject.
Resolution. —Copies of the written apologies referred to by Colonel Dis-
browe should be placed on the records of the Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. , Muscat.
