I have the honour to invite a reference to
Lori Passfield 1 s despatch No.2 dated the 24th Februarv .1931
an^ to state that the Jewish Co/tiuinity have apain approached
me to seek assistance from their more prosperous co
religionists In maintaining their school here which is
struggling for existence.
2. The total number of Jews in Bushire is about
■f'our hundred and fifty and most of them are very poor.
The number of children - both boys and girls - attending
the school is about seventy many of whom pay little or
nothing.
3. I shall therefore be grateful if the matter
could be brought to the notice of trie Anglo-Jewish Associa
tion .
