Sir,
I have the honour to inform you that His
excellency Shaikh Sir Hamad bin f Isa al-Khalifah,
K.C.I.h., G.S.I., has instructed me to write to
you fUlly on the subject of paragraph 3 of your
letter No. C/306 of 2nd October 1935, which refers
to the suggested amendment of Article III of the
lining Lease vihich the Bahrain Petroleum Company
wish to insert in the event of their erecting
a refinery in Bahrain.
2. His Lxcellency is willing to agree that
if the Company erect a refinery in Bahrain the
privileges described in Article III of the Mining
Lease shall continue in force not only for the
term of 10 years from the oonuiencement of the
Lease but for the whole period of the Lease.
