Your letter of the 12th. ultimo is to hand and I ha^e noted
all the contents.
As regards Dowaish and D^&ij and your Arabs living there
about, they are still in unity as ever they were.
The reason why you have left the Dowaish is only to avoid
bloodshed of Moslems but as a matter of fact you are capable to
overcome them.
•All yom have stated was true and goodness is always expect-
ed from you. I concur with your claims and thanks to God there
is no power over us. Inshallah goodness is always appreciated,'

I wanted to explain to you what /fiav^you pointed out to
your friend. As regards the fighting of Dowaish,by God I have
never approved or passed any orders to that effect. I knw some-
thing about their preparation and the mustering of their men
before the fighting took place,and for which T was greatly disr
appointed.
When I sent my men to fetch them,they found that they wbke
are already in action. By the name of God the gracious,since I
left Kowait up to the present hour, I have never admired Kuwait
nor its people,and the purpose of my being in there is only to
show the people their bad intentions.
We have never dreamt of such thing to take place between
Sa’oud and Sabah and even a slight disagreement may occur
amongst them.
The reasons of all these occurrences .are opuite known by you
and in cunsultation of your wise advisors who may explain trie
facts,you will realize the situation.
As regards leaving Dowaish for pur sake it was greatly
appreciated. God keeps you,you are well aware that non\
declearance of facts always cause traction in the near us and
while declaration of same always clear misundersoandings.
