I have the honour to request you will be good enough to instruct the
Officer in charge of the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. Division, P. W. D., to furnish me. with an
estimate for the undermentioned works in connection with the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. .
Light Houses with a view to their being undertaken when the works at present
in progress at Henjam are completed.
A. Tamb Island i.—To examine and repair one leaky masonary F. W.
tank.
2. To repair and drain so that it will not wash away, the roadway to the
S. E. landing place.
3. Any repairs that may be considered necessary to the buildings.
B. Quoin Islan l. 1.—To put in working order and move to the Western land
ing place the crane left by the builders on the jetty.
2. To cut steps down the face of the rock to the Western landing place and
fix eyebolts for mooring lines.
3. To build a low platform on the ledge of rock used as the Western
landing place so as to make it available at H. W. and to blast away the jagged
rocky points in the vicinity.
4. Any repairs that may be considered necessary to the buildings.
