Subject :—Improving the Katcha road and (2) Repairs to the Light House Buildings
at Tamb Island.
With reference to the correspondence ending with this office No. 373 ^> dated
the yth ultimo, I have the honour to forward herewith plans and estimate in the
rough, the latter ammounting to Rs. 4,392 for improving the existing kacha
road at Tamb Island and a fair estimate amounting to Rs. 815 for repairs to the
Light House buildings at Tamb Island.
g. The rough plans for improving the rqad at Tamb Island and the fair estiv
mate for repairs to Light House buildings may kindly be countersigned in token
of approval and returned at an early date.
3. Fair plans and estimates for improving the road will he prepared after the
approval of the Superintending Engineer, Indus Right Bank Division,
Accompaniment to No. of 1919.

existing Kucha road at Tamb Island.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION.
This estimate provides for improving th e existing Kutcha road at Tamb
Island for carrying stores, etc., from sea shore to the Light Housq. Irish Cros
sings of the design attached will be made of dry stone masonry to admit the water,
to run from one side to the other and leave the road free of floods. Catch water
drains of trench system have also been provided for at necessary places, this
will protect the rpad from being washed away.
All the work to be done in accordance with the Maryot’s specifications and
the written orders of the Executive Engineer, Karachi Buildings District.
