Command, Poona, to the Controller of Marine Accounts, Bombay,
With reference to your No*Bxll/Misc«/ll/5109 > dated the
13th August 1928, i have the honour to inform you that the
Director of Army Audit, has not approved of the suggestion
made by the Assistant Director of Army Audit, western
Command, in his letter ^o*C/4, dated the 10th April 1928* A
copy of the Director's letter on the subject is herewith

Commerce, Ro.148-3(25), dated 30th September 1926 addressed
to the Secretary of State for India ^copy enclosed) shows
clearly that the charge to the Persian u-ulf Lighting and
Buoying Service Fund has no connection with the actual cost
of the relief vessel*
