WHEREAS We deem it expedient that the Steam
Ship HEARCHUS should be authorised to wear the Blue
Ensign of His Majesty's Fleet with the Badge of the
Government of India in the fly thereof, to wit, the Star
of India:
We do, therefore, by virtue of the Power and
Authority vested in Us hereby warrant and authorise the
Blue Ensign of His Majesty’s Fleet with the distinguishing
Badge aforesaid to be worn on board the Steam Ship NEARCHUS
when the said Steam Ship HEARCHUS Is employed outside the
limits of the Waters of Iraq on the Service of tending
Lights in the
Persian Gulf
