15th, relative to charges connected with the lighting and
buoying service in the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. , I am directed by the

Corrmiissi oners of His Majesty* s Treasury are prepared to
accept, as a charge upon Imperial revenues, provisionally
and pending the settlement of ultimate liability for the
cost of this service, a moiety of the expenditure as
foilowa;~
(1) Additional expenditure of eight thousand four
hundred rupees Indian silver coin also widely used in the Persian Gulf. per annum involved in the grant
of an increase in iSie rates of pay of the
revised permanent establishment of th.a B.I.M.3#

(2) Additional expenditure of eleven thousand eight
hundred thirty four rupees Indian silver coin also widely used in the Persian Gulf. per annum due to the
