Sir,
We have the honour to forward herewith a copy ol a
letter despatched by us today to the Governor of Baghdad on
behalf of our client Mr. Nissim I. Bekhor carrying on business
under that name in Bombay and under the name of Bekhor and
Benjamin in London.
2. Our client is a British subject and has resided and
carried on business in Bombay for the past twenty years or
thereabouts and we are instructed to request that you will be
good enough to assist him in the recovery of the sum of
£ 3500/- or thereabouts due to his firm by the esofite o-
Choua Bekhor and his firm of Choua A. Bekhor and Fils of
Baghdad, whjfhes, as our client is informed, been confiscated
by the British Authorities in Baghdad.
