contingents from Iv alat. The strength required must depend on the establish-
men o control, as statedabove, but it may be confidently said that at the present
moment the strength of the Corps in Mekran itself cannot be reduced.
r g ener al proposal which 1 have to formulate is a line of the Mekran
Levy Corps running from Suntsar to Grawag to Sohtgan, thence to Kundi and
along the railway stations between Kundi and Mirjawa and thence along to Saindak-
Bobat line East of Kundi. I understand that the Military propose to maintain
detachments at Dalbandm, Nushki and Ahmadwal. As the Mekran Levy Corns
wdl take over the stations formerly held by sections of troops except Pendag Road
it will be necessary to place a few police at that station at a cost of Rs. 1 000 ner
annum. ’ r
