Better from the Secretary to the Gov-ernment of India, Foreign Department, No. 1184 P,
dated 16th May 1872—Forwarding, with reference to the Telegram from this Government
dated 22nd February last, copy of a Telegram from Her Majesty’s Minister at Teheran
to the effect that the Persian Government object to communications on the subject oi
Persian claims to Charbar being made to Ibrahim Khan of Bampur, inviting attention to
his previous letter No. 2780 P, and requesting that the Political Officers of the Telegraph
Department in Sind and on the Mekran Coast may be reminded that the Government ot #
India do not wish them to correspond with Ibrahim Khan on the subject referred to or
on other political questions.
Resolution. —Copy of this letter and enclosure should be communicated to
the Commissioner in Sind and the Indo-European Telegraph Department. opy
also should be sent to Colonel Felly accompanied by copy of Government ot
India No. 2780 P, dated 28th December.
