Letter and Enclosure to HM Secretary of State for India, dated 6 December 1871.

The Enclosure consists of a letter from Charles Alison, HBM's Minister at Teheran [Tehran] to HM Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, dated 17 August 1871. The Hishmet-ed-dowleh, uncle to the Shah of Persia, was to bear the Shah's compliments to the Emperor of Russia on his arrival at Tiflis.
