mission of letters, &c., through Kooloo, the last letters having taken 20 days
to come from Dhurmsala to Lahool, a distance of about 160 miles, being at
the rate of 8 miles a day. Also mentions the non-arrival of a demi-official
letter despatched by Mr. Griffin, Officiating Secretary to the Government of
the Punjab, from Simla, on the 28th June.
