William Newnham tansmits a copy of a letter from a person representing himself as belonging to His Majesty's Ship Martin , left in a distressed situation at Siuee [Siyu?], a place on the East Coast of Africa, together with translations of letters received from the chiefs of that and neighbouring places, and one from His Highness the Imaum [Imam] of Muscat.
