Thanks God my son Abdullah, with Hajl Nakhoda All
have arrived at Lingah in good spirits, at the conclusion
of the work through your instrumentality. We are sincerely
obliged to you for your kind efforts - May you always
prosper. We have been honoured by your esteemed letter
dated SSrd Shaaban (6th January). We received it on 84th
idem. We were glad to hear of your welfare and understood
what you wrote. With reference to the payment by you to
Sheikh Salim of 400 on account of the Mica lease and
50^ sent to Haji Ali and the balance of the Oxide rent
together with the ground tax which you paid to Sheikh
Salim and 100 Hs, the price of the rifle, which you had
given to Abdullah wherewith to buy it and SS^f for which
you gave Abdullah a draft on Yusaf, and the price of the
datesj we have entered them all in your account, and
please God after the month of Ramzan we will send you a
statement of accounts, for in these days we are busily
engaged and have no leisure, for we are occupied in
Shipping account, and my son has been away a long time.
In particular you wrote the draftof the Rules of
partnership in detail and sent it by the hand of Abdullah
who was to show it to me. It is in our opinion what was
intended and it is according to our desire that you have
acted, and this was necessary.
We have now drawn up five deeds, and all of us (here)
have placed our signatures on them and please find them
all enclosed herewith and attach your signature to them,
and that of Tho-i v - k
