I» Tigrane Maiools, do admit and confess for myself
that I have entered into partnership with l^aji Hasan bin
Ali Smamiyehy Yusuf bin Abdullaii, Ali Ahsed baleh, Abdullah
bin Hasan, and Isa bin Abdul Latif, in the inen of Oxide
and of th© stone iSJioa in the Island of Bu J'uea, which they
have leased frora Sheikh Saliia for two hundred and fifty
dollars per annus for the oxide mines, and on© thousand
and five hundred dollars for the nines of the stone Mica,
for a five years period fros the present date. And 1,
figrane Maicol® have agreed to endeavour and assist in
every possible manner towards the shipment of what is ex
cavated from the said raines by steamer and the despatch
thereof to other countries for »al»; and I will endeavour
that there nay occur no delay in the working of the service
of the said ejines; and whatever the expenses may amount to,
they shall b® borne by all the partners in the nines, and
the Inooae will also be for all. On this understanding the
agreement of partnership is concluded so that it nay not
be hidden.
And it is not open to any one of the partners to sell
a share 6r to adsit any one (therein) except in consulta
tion with Haji Haaan bin Ali eaaaiyeh and with his signature
together with those of the partners.
