Letter from John Croft Hawkins, Commodore commanding the Squadron in the Gulf of Persia, on board the East India Company Sloop Clive, at Bushire, to the Resident in the Gulf of Persia, Major Samuel Hennell, reporting on the operations of the Squadron against maritime irregularities committed by the Sheikh Ahmed bin Khulifa and the Sheikh of Asseloo. In enclosure, copies of two letters sent by Hawkins to the Sheikhs on 29 November 1846.
