Acknowledges receipt of Macdonald's letter dated 26 July 1826 transmitting Bills for Stannus for the use of the Mission and another letter dated 27 July 1826 transmitting a register of Drafts on the Bushire treasury. Stannus informs Macdonald that during the Mohurrum [Muḥarram] ceremonies no business is transacted by the merchants.
