The letter regards the allocation of the pension of the late Hajee Khaleel Khan [Hājjī Qulī Khān], whose relatives have been left destitute as a result of the conduct of Aga Ismail [Āghā Muḥammad Ismā’īl Khān]. It states that Claudius Rich believes the Resident at Bushire is familiar enough with the circumstances of the widow of Hajee Khaleel Khan (residing at Baghdad) to be able to allocate her sufficient support.
