Copy of a translation of an agreement made on 23rd October 1909, by Hdji
Rais-ut-Tuffar and Messrs- Lloyd, Scott and Company regarding the
landing place of the Anglo-Persian Oil Company at Darra Khazineh.
,.^ n regard^ to piece of land near Darra Khazineh, and asserted by the
Mu m-ut-JTijjar to be part of the land of Gunduzlu that at present is being
completed for ja landing place and a place of storing goods, we the under
signed Lloyd, Scott and Company from the part of Anglo-Persian Oil Com
pany, Limited, with the HajI Rais-ut-Tujjar, who is agent of Haji Mu’in-ut-
Iirjjar, agree and concur that whatever area of land we may need there for
the construction of the godowns and storing goods, we may appropriate.
And whenever Haji Mu’in-ut-Tujjar produces the farman in original or a
copy certified by the British Legation at Tehran by which it is evident that

Between folios 51-70, the volume contains a number of appendices including copies of various relevant agreements. On folios 69-70, the volume contains the Persian text of a concession granted to the Nasiri Company for running ships from Ahwaz to Shushtar.
The volume was compiled by Lieutenant Arnold Talbot Wilson, Acting Consul for 'Arabistan. The printing statement reads, 'Calcutta: Superintendent Government Printing, 1912'
