of State for Foreign Affairs, I have the honour to forward to
Your Highness a translation of* a letter addressed to the
Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs by the Kuwait
Oil Company and of an opinion given by Professor Lau^erpacht
regarding the Oil Company!s claim that all the islands
appertaining to the State of Kuwait, including Qaru, Kubbar
and Umm al Maradin, are comprised within their concession.
I shctfld be grateful if Your Highness would kindly acknowledge
receipt of this letter and its enclosures.
