IN accorda nce with the request made semi-officially to this Department a few
days ago by the Foreign Office, I am directed by the Board of Trade to forward to
you, for the information of Lord Lansdowne, the accompanying Tables which the
Board have caused to be prepared relating to trade with Persia. The Tables show
the total values of the exports to Persia from the United Kingdom, British India,
Russia, and Germany for each of the years from 1893 to ]902, and the values of the
principal articles exported from the United Kingdom, British India, and Russia to
Persia in recent years, so far as the information can be given from the trade accounts
of the respective countries.
