This part discusses the supply of arms and ammunition to the Idrisi and to Chiefs in the Aden Protectorate.

It includes (ff 137-152) a report by the Political Officer, Hodeida (Captain Muhammad Fazluddin, IMS) on a visit to the Idrisi at Jizan.

Correspondents include the Political Resident A senior ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul General) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Residency. , Aden (Major-General T E Scott); the Secretary of State for the Colonies (Winston Churchill); the Under-Secretary of State, Colonial Office, London; the Viceroy.
