A general letter from the Mocha Factory An East India Company trading post. to the Court of Directors The London-based directors of the East India Company who dealt with the daily conduct of the Company's affairs. of the East India Company, signed by Robert Cowan, Charles English and Francis Dickinson. Dated 12 June 1726.
The letter reports on matters mostly relating to the following: ships which had arrived at Mocha and ships which had departed from Mocha; the sale of goods from Europe at Mocha; investment in the purchase of coffee for export; the trade of the East India Company in general at Mocha, and relations with the Government of Mocha; factors and soldiers of the Mocha Factory An East India Company trading post. ; and the sending of the general accounts of the Mocha Factory An East India Company trading post. to England and Bombay.
