ABOHiagAS . A telegraphio ordsr was raosiTad from the iieshed GoTerment
on the 2nd May to the effect that passage across the fron
tier was suspended for the time being.The Bolshevik troops
who had formed one of the columns of tie Shivan punitive expedition
are reported by this correspondent to have returned, having suffered
greatly from the went of water. Kjj states that ubeir troops on the
way back sacked Jurkmen villages taking oarpets,horses,ca»els, fur
niture and sheep. Of 300 camels they had requisitioned from Turkmen
at the base only 30 were returned.
