A copy of the medical encyclopaedia Tadhkirat ūlī al-albāb wa-al-jāmi‘ lil-‘ajb al-‘ujāb (تذكرة أولي الألباب والجامع للعجب للعجاب) by Dā’ūd ibn ‘Umar al-Qaṣīr al-Anṭākī (داؤد بن عمر القصير الأنطاكي; d. 1599). The encyclopaedia is accompanied by three other short medical texts.

The manuscript was copied in 1838, in Cairo, by the scribe Ayyūb of Nazareth (see colophon Section at the end of a manuscript text. , f. 330, lines 9-13, transcribed below).

Contents:

  • al-Anṭakī, Dā’ūd ibn ‘Umar (الأنطكي، داؤد بن عمر), Tadhkirat ūlī al-albāb wa-al-jāmi‘ lil-‘ajb al-‘ujāb (تذكرة أولي الألباب والجامع للعجب للعجاب) (ff. 3v-324v);
  • Anonymous notes on the medical properties of foods drawn from various medical books (من بعض كتب الطب) (ff. 325r-326r);
  • Hippocrates (بقراط), Kitāb al-buthūr fī ‘alāmāt al-mawt (كتاب البثور في علامات الموت) (ff. 326r-327v);
  • Avicenna (Ibn Sīnā, ابن سينا), Extracts from the Canon [ of Medicine ] (القانون) (ff. 327v-330r).

Folios 1v-2r contain a table of contents to the entire manuscript.
